PerioTrap has published its efficient targeted periodontitis strategy that could minimize side effects and the overuse of broad-spectrum antibiotics.

It was developed and tested together with scientists from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI. The aim is to neutralize only bacteria that cause periodontitis while sparing harmless bacteria. The study was published in the „Journal of Biological Chemistry“.
